October 24, 2014 WIM Meeting

 The founder and first AWM president Prof. Mary Gray gave an inspiring talk on her research and career as a statistician and lawyer. She explained how her research in statistics and law helped to rescue mathematicians’ from prison, raised her own salary as a female professor, and lowered the dropping rates of female students from middle school in India.
